Ahh. Guess who’s back? back again? The Bump Squad’s back. Tell a friend.
We needed a serious reboot from the yahoo groups. Why? Because we felt we were bigger and better than that. Not arrogance. Just fact. As others would forward messages after message originating from the bump Squad or cross posting it became 2 frustrating 4 me 4 many reasons. It is like killing local radio when doing that. So I made some changes n reasons 4 the changes;
#1, I felt u the fans of Prince of Los Angeles & California deserved a better site and better way 2 get the news 1st.
#2, this way u guys can leave comments much quicker. Do keep in mind, the bump Squad is UR group, but postings as in the past will be locked if comments get out of control. Hopefully, it will NEVER get 2 that.
#3, ALL of u will be able 2 send us news like in the past. Sometime this week, I will have a thread 4 those who wish 2 be added as 4 ones who can send us news. Like in the past, I will approve it, but u will get direct credit instead of having 2 name u in the thread like in the past.
#4, this site looks much nicer and will be easier 2 navigate and with the RSS Feeds, u will still be able 2 get email updates on the site.
#5, http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/thebumpsquad/ will now be an archive site as we progress.
#6, We want 2 be ahead of the curve and other fan groups and felt the change was needed.
#7, the bump Squad celebrated it’s 7th year Anniversary this year and with August being my birth month, I wanted 2 give u all a gift in celebration of the longest running Los Angeles Prince Connection in Los Angeles & Southern California.
Thank u all 4 without u there would b no bump Squad.
